R.I.P Rowdy Roddy Piper

Roddy Piper was a man who transcended what he did for a living.
he was a wrestler, actor, pod-caster ,but most importantly he was a father he said many times that he and his son we’re best friends. Although piper was one of the most hated villains in wrestling for some reason even early on i identified with him, i could see that this “Evil dude” in the wrestling ring did what he had to do to get what he wanted. i accepted him as one of my favorites to watch in all his dastardly ways because i believed that he was a bad ass in and out of the ring

Roddy was sincere in everything he did weather it was defending his stance on an issue and he didn’t take crap from anyone. yet he was the sweetest guy you could ever meet if it were on TV or listening to him on interviews and podcasts you can tell that in a world where most people can sit there and feed you bullshit Roddy never had time for that and he would never want to waste his or your time with bullshit.

Being a fan i feel that he was as real as real gets and although he’s been gone a short-time now i feel as if one day in the most glorious way he’s going to jump out of the MSG curtain and yell “got you fuckers”  with that unforgettable smirk
